Beach Destinations
Koh Lanta
Koh Lanta is a beautiful island that has yet to be discovered by the tourist hoards. At 30km long and 6km wide, there is much to discover. Nine pristine beaches with soft, luxurious sand lie one after the other along the sunset coast. The coral reefs that surround the island are teaming with aquatic life and attract divers from around the world. Koh Lanta truly is an unspoilt holiday idyll with treasures a plenty.
Ao Nang
Ao Nang has an incredibly beautiful beach, with creamy, turquoise waters and stunning limestone karsts and islets rising straight out of the sea. Many of these have hidden beaches that are just a short boat ride away. Being just 20 minute’s drive from the regional capital, Krabi, the beach is popular with Thais, yet maintains a small-town charm. The renowned restaurants and markets serve delicious, fiery fare and are a magnet for lovers of Thai food.
Phi Phi
Phi Phi islands are widely regarded to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth; a tropical paradise in every sense of the word. Tiny bays abound, with soft white sands and glorious warm, turquoise water gently lapping the shore. The hills and cliffs that come down to the beaches are clad in a wondrous blanket of tropical foliage and flowers. The restaurants and bars are first-rate, with romantic dinners taken on the beach. Diving here is highly regarded, as are the Thai massages on the beach or in one of the lovely spas. Phi Phi is a place to lie back, relax and enjoy the isolation.
Phuket
Phuket is the largest island in the country, with much to explore and do. Here you will find some of the best cuisine in the country, a plethora of water-based activities, luxury spas, superb diving, inspirational golf courses, excellent shopping and unsurpassed nightlife. The island has lush, jungle-clad mountains reaching down to untouched coves and secluded inlets, with silky soft sand and warm, crystal clear tropical waters. With a wonderful blend of relaxation and excitement, it is no wonder that Phuket is the premier holiday destination in Thailand.
Koh Samui
Koh Samui is just the most idyllic, tropical, resort island. With mile upon mile of stunning coastline, thick, lush rainforest in its interior and a plethora of bars, restaurants and street food, it is no wonder that the island is such a coveted and desirable destination. Those visiting the island should consider a day trip to the stunning archipelago of Ang Thong composed of 42 picture-perfect, jungle clad islets
Koh Pha Ngan
Koh Pha Ngan is a carefree, chilled out island on which to relax. There are many glorious beaches with white sand and fringed with lush, tropical jungle. The world-famous Full Moon Party takes place every month on Haad Rin beach and there are also Half Moon parties to enjoy. If you wish for your tour to include one of these parties, then plan ahead as accommodation gets booked up months in advance!
Koh Tao
Koh Tao is a small, laid back island with golden, sandy beaches and secluded bays. Many would argue, however, that its true beauty lies beneath its crystal clear waters. Dive operators on the island are very highly regarded and provide an inexpensive introduction to diving. If you wish, then we can arrange for your full dive package, or a day trip to the magical islets of Koh Nang Yuan.
Hua Hin
Hua Hin is Thailand’s royal beach resort and a favourite destination for Bangkok’s inhabitants. There is a glorious white sandy beach that stretches for miles and a lively coastline with many fantastic beaches within easy reach. The town is famous for its seafood with a whole range of places to eat; from freshly cooked street food to fine dining on rooftop terraces. High end shopping sits alongside streets teeming with vendors and market stalls. You might choose to lie back and relax, or maybe play on the oldest golf course in Thailand, or perhaps hire a bicycle to discover more of the town and its surrounds.
Pattaya
Koh Chang
Koh Chang is Thailand’s second largest island, yet it remains relatively undiscovered by the masses. It has a lush mountainous interior clothed in thick green vegetation and beautiful, unspoilt beaches. The coral reefs that lie off its coast are highly regarded and, as such, there are plentiful dive schools. Island hopping and trekking are also popular activities and, for an island that is so underdeveloped compared with others in Thailand, the restaurants and nightlife are surprisingly impressive. In addition, Koh Chang is cheaper than many of the other islands, so you can afford more luxurious accommodation here.
