Congratulations to Miss Thailand Universe on winning the Best National Costume award at this year’s Miss Universe competition.
Not only did Aniporn Chalermburanawong (Nat) get the award for her incredible Tuk Tuk costume, but she was also placed in the top 10 for the entire Miss Universe Pageant competition, which was held in Las Vegas, USA on 22 December 2015.
The designer of the dress, Mr. Hirankrit Pattaraboriboonkul, skilfully blended the iconic imagery of the tuk tuk with a keen eye for fashion to make this stunning dress.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand helped to sponsor the creation of the Miss Tuk Tuk Thailand costume to help promote tourism and as a part of their ‘Discover Thainess’ campaign.
